This moon cake is custardy without the custard and creamy without the cream. It is velvety smooth and together with the golden pastry, every bite is a delicious sweet dream. Also we use 100% Australian mung beans. Your choice of one or two salted egg yolks.

Ingredients

Filling: Mung Bean, Sugar, Canola Oil, Vanilla extract.

Pastry: Wheat flour, Golden Syrup, Canola Oil, Lye Water, Egg Wash.

Last year I bought the moon cake from Red Jade, and they come with the bags, but this year there is no bags included. Very disappointed.

Red Jade Mung Beans are yummylicious and moreish. The size is just right. It is light and the crust is flakey, great with tea or coffee. As always, quality is guaranteed and you can taste the first class ingredients used.
